dry and glittery - I prefer a more subtle glow and lit from within effect that a balm highlighter provides. Thought I’d try Ysl as I love their blush and lip products but this is a hard glittery messy pass for me.

Guilty pleasure

YSL makes such high-quality products — I’ve been using their bronzer for years and had high hopes for this highlighter. I’m happy to say it truly lives up to expectations! The finish is gorgeous and refined, with no chunky sparkles — just a soft, radiant sheen that melts into the skin. The shade is a little different from what I usually go for, but it’s perfect for special occasions and has become a go-to in the summer for that effortless, luminous look. Highly recommend if you want a glow! The packaging is also stunning….

Luminous feel on skin

Beautiful sleek packaging The highlighter gives a luminous shimmer which is very soft on the skin. One thing to note is that you’ll need to use more products to get a pigmented shine

Beautiful but just a little too much glitter

While the shade and payoff was stunning, I personally don’t love a chunky glitter in my highlighter. This was just a little too glittery for me. It was still a beautiful highlight and I think people who like a lot of glitter vs shimmer in their highlight would love this product.
