Shoes peel on the toe. Not great quality for this version.
Bought two pairs for my kids and both pairs started to peel on the toe area and breakdown. Quality is worse compared to previous flex runners. Luckily Nike has warranty that deals with defects. I would avoid this release of the 4’s.

Size up
Fit is small so you will want to size up. Other than sizing this is a nice sneaker for toddlers.

cute but bad quality
My son loves these shoes but the last three pairs we've gotten have all broken in the same place after only a few wears. For the price, I expect better quality.

Would not purchase again
My daughter was recovering from a broken ankle, and I bought these because they were soft on the side and weren’t rigid in the ankle area like other athletic shoes. For that, they served their purpose. However, after a little over a month’s worth of use, they are falling apart. The Nike symbol has fallen off of both shoes, and they look ragged. I would have expected better quality from Nike.

Too narrow
This model is too narrow. Used to love the flex runners until now. The band is too tight across the foot. Unfortunate.

Dirt magnet
My daughter has had a few versions of these shoes. They are super comfortable and don’t have laces so it’s her go to. I got her the pink this time and they have gotten destroyed in only a few wearings. The material stains easily and they look trashed even though they are a few weeks old. And not just in one part of the shoe, the entire shoe gets filthy. I washed them three times already with Dawn power wash but the next time she wears them they look disgusting again. I’d rate it higher for comfort and style but they don’t last. If I did buy these again I would get black.

Poor quality.
My 6yr old daughter has been wearing these for less than a month and the sole is starting to peel off. She is not rough on shoes, does not drag her toes and does not pick at them. I’m super disappointed in this model. Her flex runner 3s took way more abuse and are still in great shape after 8 months of wear.
